As the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra made its way into the picturesque landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh this Saturday, the Congress Party seized the opportunity to launch a blistering attack on the BJP-led government at the Centre, focusing its criticism on the contentious border issue with China.

Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary, didn't mince words as he took to the digital sphere, expressing his dismay over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's previous statement on June 19, 2020. Ramesh emphasized, "The Prime Minister had said, 'Neither has anyone entered our border nor is anyone intruding.' This statement, not only an insult to our 20 martyred soldiers but, because of that clean chit, China is giving us Ladakh and Arunachal, showing red eyes in. India's position has also weakened in talks with China."

In an era where social media is a battleground for political narratives, Ramesh chose X (formerly Twitter) as his platform to deliver this scathing critique, amplifying his message to a wide audience. The Congress General Secretary underscored the strategic importance of the region, pointing out that India's negotiating position has suffered due to the perceived complacency of the central government.

In a move to solidify their commitment to the region, Ramesh drew attention to the Congress party's historical contribution, reminding the public that they had added Article 371H to the Constitution for the people of Arunachal. This, he asserted, was a testament to the party's dedication to safeguarding the interests and rights of the people in this crucial border state.

As the political drama unfolds against the backdrop of the scenic beauty of Arunachal Pradesh, the Congress Party's bold stance adds a layer of intensity to the ongoing discourse surrounding India's border relations with China.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra becomes not just a journey through landscapes but a symbolic traverse through the complex web of geopolitical concerns.

In a poignant assertion, Rahul Gandhi stated that the Assam Government is resorting to intimidation tactics against those endorsing the Nyay Yatra and obstructing the approval for diverse events under the Bharat Jodo initiative. Despite these challenges, the leader underscored with unwavering conviction that the indomitable spirit of the public will not succumb to the intimidations wielded by the BJP.
